My team and I hit the ground running in June, and visited all fifteen Community College districts of Iowa. From the start, I made it clear: this campaign would be different. The old way of running campaigns isn’t working anymore, and I believe Iowans deserve a new approach.

The goal of clean water should not be a partisan problem or an urban vs. rural problem, it is a threat to all Iowans.

The Julie Stauch For All Iowans campaign announced a weekend of events in Northwest Iowa. This is the first weekend with consecutive "Interview Sessions" requested for the campaign.

Julie Stauch announced her candidacy Tuesday for the 2026 race as a Democrat.

“Iowa has a lot of problems, and I’ve spent my whole career solving problems in a lot of different places,” Stauch said in an interview. “So I’ve applied for the job.”
